Waitoki School is a VERY special place for the Green Family! My husband Jim was a student at Waitoki, also his brother George and sister Caroline were students at our amazing school. Our 3 children Jack 21, Will 19 and Sophie 17 spent all of their Primary years up to Year 8 at Waitoki. They all really loved our school and still talk about all the amazing experiences and memories over the years. I was very lucky to become a part time teacher while my children were at Waitoki and my days have grown over the years, I love it SO much, I am still here (now 5 days a week) I am the staff member who has been here the longest! This year (2025) I am doing the teacher CRT which I love, as I get to teach in every class.

Our family are also a part of the Waitoki community, we have lived in Waitoki for 13 years and really enjoy the country life style. Our children did AG day several times, which was SUCH a wonderful experience. Waitoki is such an awesome place to live, I love meeting all the new families that move into the area and join our fantastic community!

I have been teaching for 28 years, as I grew up in Rotorua I got my degree at the University Of Waikato. I have taught at a small country school in Te Awamutu. Jim and I moved up to Auckland, I taught for many years at Coatesville Primary. I worked for the Life Education Trust (travelling around North Shore Schools) teaching topics relating to Health to Year 0 - 8 students, (with Harold the giraffe). I worked at Dairy Flat, we had our family and then came to Waitoki.

Waitoki School holds a VERY special place in my heart, it is an absolute privilege to work with your awesome children, I am excited about the year ahead.
