Kia ora,

I'm excited to announce two new additions to our Waitoki School team. Jessica Gillan has been appointed as our new Office Administrator. Jessica lives locally in Kaukapakapa and brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has a strong background in office administration, as well as valuable experience working with children during previous roles at Auckland Zoo and after school care. Shae Lethby has been appointed as an additional Teacher Aide. As well as being Mum to Arlo, Emi, and Freyja, Shae is also a qualified teacher. She's passionate about supporting student learning and will be a wonderful asset to our team, providing valuable assistance in the classroom. Both Jessica and Shae will start work on Monday 14th July, so please give them a warm Waitoki welcome if you see them around school.

Please remember to book your three-way conferences through the Skool Loop App. This is a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's progress and learning goals with both your child and their teacher. School will finish at 12:00pm on Tuesday 15th July, and appointments are between 12:30pm and 7:00pm. If you have any issues accessing or using the Skool Loop App, please contact the school office for assistance.

Also, don't miss our exciting Trivia Night on Friday 18th July. There are still a couple of tables left, so gather your sharpest friends for a night of brain-teasing fun and friendly competition. It's the perfect chance to dress up, test your knowledge, win some prizes, enjoy a great community evening as well as fundraising for school. Book your team a table now before it's too late!
