Our Year 7 and 8 students will be taking part in the Kaipara Summer Sports Day on Monday 7th April 2024 at Rautawhiri Park, Helensville.  (Save day Tuesday 8th April)

We will be leaving school by bus around 8.45am as the day will start at 9.30am and will be back in time for end of day buses leaving Helensville around 1.50pm. Please make sure your child comes to school on time and goes directly to their class for the roll to be taken.

Please sign the permission slip on skool loop ASAP to approve your child attending this day off site and going via the school bus.

Just a reminder that if your child is representing the school at an event - including sport, leadership etc they will need to be wearing a school T Shirt, we have some sizes available in the office but may need to order in some stock.

Please let us know asap if your child does not have a school T Shirt and you would like to purchase one.

Our Year 5 and 6 students will be taking part in the Kaipara Summer Sports Day on Monday 31 March 2025 at Rautawhiri Park, Helensville.  (Save Day Tuesday 1st April).

 

We will be leaving school by bus around 8.40am as the day will start at 9.30am and will be back in time for end of day buses leaving Helensville around 2pm. Please make sure your child comes to school on time and goes directly to their class for the roll to be taken.

 

Your child will need to bring with them a packed lunch, large water bottle, hat and sunblock, Waitoki T-shirt (to be worn for the day), warm jumper, waterproof jacket and suitable running shoes (not crocs) would be best.

 

This is a fun inter-school event; schools will not be competing against each other. There will be mixed school teams compiled before the day. There will be separate Year 5 and Year 6 teams, and the students will rotate between games (T-ball, Kickball, 3-Bat, Scatter ball, Long Ball and Non-stop Cricket) each game will be around 40 min long.

 

We do not require any parent help for the day, thank you, there will be Waitoki teachers accompanying our students and they will be rotating between the groups. There are also teachers from each school running every game, so there is plenty of supervision.

 

The children are all very excited as some of them attended this event before and have been sharing how fun it was!

 

Please sign the permission slip on Skool Loop under ‘Forms’ by Friday 21st March 2025 to approve your child attending this day off site and going via the school bus.
