Basketball Team Interest – Semester 2
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from students who would like to play basketball in a school team in Semester 2 (Terms 3 and 4).
Please note that your child is required to make the commitment for the entire season, covering both Terms 3 and 4. Before expressing interest, please ensure that basketball will not clash with any other sporting commitments during this time (Game days for each Year level are below)
Season details:
Begins the week of 3 August.( Term 3 week 3)
All games are played at Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre
Game Days:
Tuesday – Year 5 & 6
Wednesday – Year 1 & 2
Thursday - Year 3 & 4
If your child is interested in playing, please email bporter@waitoki.school.nz as soon as possible so teams can be organised.

If you would like to order chicks and/or rearing equipment and feed - please complete the order form attached and return before 2 July 2026 at the latest.
Payment for the chicks and equipment can be made into the school account: 12-3139-0003007-00 or by Eftpos/cash in the school office.
Chicks will arrive in August, date to be confirmed.
As Ag Day approaches we are gauging how many people are planning to raise animals. Please fill in this form if you plan to raise a chick, calf, lamb or kid goat.
Lambs, calves and kid goats must be born between July 1st and September 15th 2026.

Bookings are now open for 3 Way Conferences (Student/Parent/Teacher) at the beginning of Term 3, Week 1 on Tuesday 21st July. School will close at 12pm on that day and individual meetings start at 12:30 pm until 7:00pm. The purpose of these conferences is to share and discuss assessments, answer any questions from the report, and for your child to share their learning and talk about their learning goals. Tamariki play an important role in these conferences. Appointments can be made through the Skool Loop App under interviews.
