Kia ora 
The fencing contractors will begin working at the front gates of the school tomorrow morning, working to replace the orange and blue gates as well as the fence in the staff car park. This will mean access to the school from Tuesday 15th September until Friday 19th September will need to be made through the new black school gate, by the flagpole. 
We appreciate that the temporary fencing and containers have encroached on the amount of parking spaces we can currently use. We respectfully ask that you continue to use the 2 minute drop off zone and bus bay area to "drop and go" (no parking or leaving your vehicle) for the next two weeks. If you would like to come into school, please park on either Kahikatea Flat Road or across the road from school. 
We thank you for your understanding, the fencing project is on track to finish before Term 4 starts.

Calendar Art Orders

Your child will be bringing home an order form for Calendar Art today, please check their bags

Morena everyone,

 

The after school football session for our Year 1-2 & 3-4 was a massive success!

I wanted to give a reminder for the next few dates.

The dates for our school are as follows:

Friday 18th September - Years 1-2 & 3-4 - Before School 7:30am

Tuesday 22nd September - Years 3-4 & 5-6 - Afterschool Session 2.30pm 

All sessions will be on the school field or the turf weather dependent - unfortunately this will be a last minute decision as the weather can change quite quickly.

In the case of cancellation (would be severe weather!), we will aim to send out a Skool Loop as early as we can, and South Kaipara FC also posts to their FB page.

 

Please note there is also no cost for these sessions.

 

South Kaipara FC is also hosting a Fun Football Finale event, to finish the term.

Calendar Art Orders are opening this coming Monday, 14th September and closing 25th September. An individual order form with a copy of your child’s art work and instructions on how to order will be given to your child to bring home.

Kia ora 
I am writing to inform you of some upcoming improvement works, which will be funded by the Ministry. Following a comprehensive onsite technical audit of our electrical, interior, carpet, and thermal infrastructure that was conducted by Programmed in April, several necessary upgrades were identified. The Ministry has advised us that contractors will be on site to carry out essential electrical work alongside acoustic and soundproofing enhancements. To support these works, a storage container will be placed in the school car park on Friday 11th September with work due to begin after 12th September.

Please be reassured that the health and safety of our tamariki, community, staff, and visitors is our top priority. All work will be performed under strict safety protocols, with active work zones clearly secured and separated from our learners. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as the Ministry completes these necessary upgrades.
